ARM1 Auxiliary Relay Module for RM Series Readers and Modules
The Auxiliary Relay Module (ARM1) is the external relay used with the various RM-4 Reader Bus modules. The RM4 Reader Bus modules have two outputs but there are no relays provided. The output circuits of the RM4 are transistor collector outputs and are rated at 30 mA maximum load. The ARM-1 coil draws 17 mA at 12 VDC.

- The optional ARM1 reduces wire runs back to the iSTAR Pro.
- The ARM1 provides a relay output for a door strike or other equipment located near a standard style RM Series Reader or an RM4 module.
- The relays are rated at 30 V, Resistive 2.0A, Inductive 1.0A.
- The ARM1 may be installed up to 25 feet (7.6 meters) from the RM-4 module.
